SPRING RECITAL
This is our formal "memorized" recital where each student plays one musical selection from memory. 

Date: May 7, 2023 
​Location: Harvest Baptist Church

 

MULTIPLE PIANO FESTIVAL

The Multiple Piano Festival is an annual event held in November, in which the students play duets simultaneously on 12 grand pianos under the direction of a conductor. Students are chosen to perform after they audition (usually held in late October/ early November). This is quite a unique performance and very fun!!
 
Students, you'll want to start your music and commit to your duet partner in the summer.
 
Concert Date: Saturday November 18, 2023 at Niwot High School
Audition Date: November 4, 2023 at various locations in Boulder county. Plan for a morning time. (art work for the program cover contest is due this day)
Rehearsals: Nov. 10 or 11 at Boulder Piano Gallery, and Nov. 17 & 18 at Niwot High School
Audition Fee = $35.00
Audience Ticket Price (no ticket needed for performers) = $15.00 each

 

WINTER PIANO RECITAL

Please bring a treat to share for a reception after each recital (nothing gooey or too crummy, please!)
 
ACHIEVEMENT DAY
Achievement Day is an annual festival held in May, in which students have the chance to perform piano pieces, technique, various other performance options, prepare projects & compositions, take tests in music theory, etc. There are 13 levels and students who meet all the requirements for that level are awarded an Achievement certificate. If students choose to work towards a higher goal, a music medal is awarded for those who meet those requirements -- this is the "Super Achiever" award. This is a great opportunity for those who want to demonstrate their many different talents and it is a wonderful culmination of the school year's piano efforts! I hire the judges and hold Achievement Day in my studio, so that it is as convenient as possible for my students during this busy time of year.
